Project of Recuperation, Reconversion and Works Supervision of an old house next to a ruin in the Sintra Hills
By an old watermill, with the sound of water which still runs today, we find a series of houses in ruin which, over the years, have been neglected and subjected to the necessities of those who have passed by them. The project of recuperation and extension of the "Casa do Penedo" makes use of anything of historical interest from the original house, corrects discontinuities, uses natural materials - stone, iron, wood - and governs the development with the symbiosis and respect between old and new.
