Project for a 5 star Hotel Unit

Project for a Hotel forming part of the Monte Santos Territorial Action Programme (see Chapter "Urbanism", year 2005). This is a building designed to accommodate a luxury hotel with a spa. The hotel building originates from the same concept that protects the other developments for the undertaking, that is the dwellings. Although on a different scale, the intention is that it approaches the theme of adapting to the terrain and the locality in the same way as the smaller constructions. So the hotel building blends in with the existing terrain and, through controlled landscaping, uses garden roofs, stone wall planes that serve as a base/support for earth, copper roofs, etc..., which integrate into the countryside in a natural way, adopting the appearance of a new element overall, which is in balance with the dynamism of the locality instead of imposing upon it.
