Located on the southern coast of the island of Porto Santo, this Single-family Dwelling combines the use of wood in its construction and masonry and is on different levels set in the natural slope of the land.

The project reflects its favourable topographical location, seeking fusion and harmony with its near and far surroundings, having the skyline of the Serra de Sintra in the background.

Land project with characteristics making it possible for it to be used for tourism in a rural setting, enjoying the nearby surroundings, which definitively marks the development.

Housing project for a plot next to the floodplain area of the Ribeira de Sintra, where its prominence stands out along with the fact that it makes maximum use of the view of the Serra de Sintra and the one to the south, in order to experience the natural landscape, without the distraction of next-door neighbours.

A project based upon the relationship between the level of dammed water existing in the land and the harmony with the architectural language characteristic of the Upper Alentejo countryside.

The operation seeks to redefine the land from the main façade of the existing building - to be safeguarded owing to the predominant identifying characteristics in the historical centre and its homogeneity, interacting with the locality and the countryside extending to the north.
